Jerome P. Burger brings the firm’s clients an unparalleled background in business, transactional law and litigation. Prior to joining Marron & Associates, Mr. Burger was a logistician and project manager for Rockwell International and Boeing, including serving as a project manager for the C-130 Gunship project. In this capacity he oversaw the broad array of matters business executives experience, from contracting to production, to technical/software issues and human resources and employee management. Mr. Burger also played a key business side role in managing and litigating a $200,000,000 contract claim against the United States Air Force. As an attorney his transactional experience consists of commercial and consumer transactions including real estate purchases, sales, and leases; financing statements and promissory notes; formation and operation of business entities (corporations, limited liability companies, general partnerships, and joint ventures); employment and independent contractor contracts; etc. A jury trial experienced attorney, his litigation knowledge spans a variety of business matters, such as high stakes contract disputes, employment, and civil rights cases. His sophistication and experience serves him well in acting as outside general counsel to small and medium sized businesses. Mr. Burger is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. He served on active duty as a Naval Aviator for eleven years. He holds an MBA degree from Pepperdine University. He attended Western State University of Law, where he graduated cum laude (4th in his class) and was editor of the Law Review.
